Week 21

Pest control car we saw.

Baby birds.

Pretty flower bush. For size reference it is about that size of my palm.

A lot of LEDs

We got clouds!... but no rain...

Service at the Minton’s house.
This is their back yard (pictures from the week before)
Apparently 20 years ago missionaries helped build this. Mr. Minton said they built probably 90 percent of it. There are some Sister missionaries that grew up with horses so they were overjoyed to groom and pet the horses. The Mintons have also had missionaries come to have p-days (preparation days) here and have had two commercials filmed here. Really cool!

This is Mister Minton teaching Elder Barringer how to lead a horse.

We had some bread that was going to expire so I made French toast casserole.
I put a little too much brown sugar in it but it was still really good!
My first ride on my new bike!
We were all getting out of the car for dinner at a member's house and the first thing that Elder Barringer sees is a banana peel right before he was about to step on it. Then I start hearing the Mario kart theme! It was really funny in the moment.
I got to help a neighbor with his car for 30 minutes! (It turns out we can't use power tools... I checked later)
How would you like to be that guy, 30-40 feet up in the air? He is really brave!
It turns out that Aldi’s grocery doesn’t open until 9 so we went over to Stater Bros. for the few groceries we needed. We have a lot of leftovers from members and from the munch and mingle at the Single adults ward. They just send it home with us.
It all started on Sunday night after 9 when I began making the calzones. (We have a lot of leftover ham so I wanted to make breakfast calzones) So I started with the eggs and dough. But I didn't mix in the yeast because I figured I wasn't going to be able to finish this before bed. (Also, I didn't know this but we didn't have milk for the alfredo sauce) I also cut up ham but I don't have a picture.

Me after cooking the eggs.
If you look closely you can see some flour on my head. I guess there was some flour on the counter top and I bent down and my hair touched the edge.

Alfredo sauce, eggs and ham.
We didn't have a brush so i got creative and used my hands
The final product.
