Week 36

This week has honestly been very slow as far as the work but we have been getting along pretty good. Not much luck in finding people to teach.
I don't know what this thing is but I want one!
I don't know if this is what you call your typical monster truck but...
...I did find one that is close. Yet again another ridiculously over sized truck. I don't even understand how they get in.
Apparently here in California they don't just grow citrus trees but they literally use them for landscaping. It saves space and it still grows a ton of produce and it looks kind of cool!
Someone has a really cool car!
This is literally the world's nicest dog ever. We have had to actually pass through this area a couple of times and each time we do she is there waiting for us to pet her. This is always a highlight for me when we are on this street, being the animal lover that I am.
Stopped by the train
This is Elder O'Neal's homemade belt. He got it off of a 1980's Jayco RV. He literally uses it as a belt. Elder O'Neal loved my Utility Pack when I showed it to him after the second day. He literally said "okay, we can be friends now!" It was funny. He also knows A LOT about cars and it turns out that his personal car back is the older version of the green car. His car is a 1980's Mazda 626. Exactly the kind we have just a little older. Elder O'Neal and I get along probably the best out of the entire apartment.
Bus getting a tow.
.. pretty self explanatory. MOVING ON!
I found this at a yard sale. In this area, there is only one weekend every three months that you can legally do yard sales so all of the sudden we start seeing a ton of yard sales on every block. We learned that as we helped one of them move some of their stuff.
Across that street... is the end of the mission. As some missionaries have said standing by the border, "there is only an invisible line stopping me from crossing this point". In this case it is the street.
This is probably the BEST picture I have gotten on the mission!
Palm tree..
